What I did Today

For 1 hour, anyway.  What, did you expect me to do this all day?

8:54- Put in "The Wizard of Oz" and hit play.

8:55- Remembered to put TV on channel 4 so video would show up.

8:57- Got stupid swing-dancing song stuck in head.

8:58- Finished waffle. (I was eating a waffle before I started)

8:59- Noticed pink hair. *

9:00- Wondered what one person swing-dancing would look like.

9:01- Said "Eew!  Custard!" ¥

9:01- Said it again, loudly.

9:02- Sang "Somewhere over the Rainbow" with Dorothy.

9:02- Thought how good I was at singing that.

9:03- Noticed pink hair.

9:04- Thought how old Dorothy was in the movie vs. how young she is in the book.

9:04- Quoted Mrs. Gulch multiple times.

9:05- Needed another waffle.

9:05: Frowned at soggy-frozen-waffle.

9:06- Put waffle in toaster anyway, sat down again.

9:07- Thought of Toaster haiku. ¤

9:08- Said "That's one dog to another, eh?"

9:08- Heard waffle pop up.

9:10- Wondered how a waffle could be burnt and soggy at the same time.

9:12- Decided to turn on computer and play 'Firewall' video I downloaded.

9:13- Noticed pink hair.

9:14- Actually got around to turning on computer.

9:14- Noticed pink hair.

9:15- Listened to computer start-up music (Beast Machines Theme)

9:16- Told Inoculate I didn't want to Auto-Download.

9:17- Sang really off-key version of  "Somewhere over the Rainbow" composed entirely of 'duh''s

9:18- Called Glinda a flake.

9:18- Thought about cornflakes.

9:19- Sang along with "Ding-dong, the witch is dead!"

9:19- Tried to make my voice as high as a munchkin's. (failed miserably)

9:21- Absently started to conduct munchkin music with my hands.

9:22- Open and closed Adobe Photoshop.

9:23- Made Firewall window tiny, then big again.

9:25- Finally played Firewall.

9:25- Thought how odd it was that all ReBoot people wear Spandex.

9:26- Gave up singing along with last notes in Firewall.

9:27- Played it again.

9:27- Noticed all that Spandex again.

9:29- Admired Mouse's hair.

9:29- Decided to time Firewall.

9:31- Timed Firewall.

9:32- Found out it is 1 minute 52 seconds long.

9:34- Played it again.

9:34- Got stuck in computer chair.

9:35- Put on "ugly-slippers".

9:36- Played little movie I downloaded called "Have you home".

9:36- Spoke along with all the people in "Have you home".

9:38- Thought how stupid Bob's voice is. (3rd season)

9:40- Sat down in armchair.

9:41- Got up.

9:42- Cackled like the wicked witch.

9:44- Gave green pencil a face and called it Dot.

9:47- Gave blue pencil a face and called it Bob.

9:48- Realized that Bob-pencil needed hair.

9:50- Started to make Bob-pencil-hair from aluminum foil.

9:50- Realized that there's aluminum foil and tin foil.

9:52- Stopped pondering that and got back to making Bob-pencil-hair.

9:58- Finished Bob-pencil-hair and attached it to Bob-pencil's head.

9:59- Realized I was talking about a colored-pencil top as a "head".

10:00- Wondered what was up with that.

I remember looking at the clock at 10:01, then promptly falling asleep for exactly 50 minutes.  Hey, I was sick, you act weird when you're sick!

 

* At the time, I had only recently dyed my hair pink.  All of it.  It was great.

I have a toaster.
